CBT AND EMDR - FACE TO FACE OR REMOTE

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (or CBT for short) is an active form of therapy that helps you to understand how patterns of thoughts or cognitions and behaviours can affect how we feel.  Broadly speaking we work on the principle that whilst we can't change the past, we can understand how it has informed and shaped the present and learn ways to change how we think and respond with the aim of changing how we feel.

Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (or EMDR for short) is a therapy used to help people recover from distressing events and the problems they have caused, like flashbacks, upsetting thoughts or images, depression or anxiety.

I offer either face to face appointments from rooms in Leeds or online video or telephone CBT sessions.
